Meet our creator

Lia has spent her entire life curious about plants; even her first memory is of basil.

She grew up surrounded by gardens, neighbors with overwhelming plant knowledge, and millions of tomato, peach and corn varieties in central Colorado. She decided to head much farther West, reaching Alaska, Montana and Hawaii, before settling down in the Northeast.

In Vermont, Lia studied to be a Master Gardener, a Certified Sustainable Landscape Designer and a Master of Pruning. She has spent the last 4 years dedicated to her craft, learning more about plants in the Northeast. She has completely fallen in love with the wilds, the weathers and the wildflowers of the East, and intends to fully study their ecology for many years to come. Lia is thrilled to be working in such an abundantly beautiful area, doing what she loves- working with, tending to, and planning gardens.
